Medaka 'Aka Tora' (Red Tiger) あかとら アカトラ 赤虎

The incredibly adaptive fish species known as the Aka Tora Medaka Ricefish (Oryzias latipes, var. "Aka Tora"), sometimes referred to as the Japanese Ricefish or Japanese Killifish, has been deliberately developed into this red/orange and black variant. Directly translated from Japanese, Aka Tora mean Red Tiger and with the multi color patters, its easy to see how this Medaka got its name.
