The incredibly adaptive fish species known as the Kohaku Medaka Ricefish (Oryzias latipes, var. "Kohaku"), sometimes referred to as the Japanese Ricefish or Japanese Killifish, has been deliberately developed into this vivid bright yellow/orange variant. This schooling fish is most noteworthy in the planted aquarium, but it may be the focal point of any serene community aquarium. Although it acts similarly to most other killifish yet is not closely related to them, there seems to be some disagreement as to whether it should be regarded as a member of the killifish family. This mostly subtropical fish can live freely in waters of any salinity, from freshwater to totally marine.

Each order comes with 5 Medaka Fish.
